Haunted House Hunting

The Haunted House Hunting

So, in the abyss of reality I decided I wanted to become a Home Owner, for some completely strange reason. In this market it seemed fitting. Only the joke was on me! I was unaware of the grueling task of finding the right home for me, or us, I shall say. The abbreviations have begun to run circles in my mind fha..hoa..cdd..ss..203k.....

I thought it would be fun and exciting buying a home for the first time but the banks, investors and sellers have made sure to disappoint. Oh, lets not forget when you find the most absolute perfect home but there are multiple, HUGE holes in every wall in the home.. from none other then the angry tenants before that were no longer able to live in said house.

Okay, okay.. Now granted I understand I will NOT find the PERFECT home the first time and I AM able to see past MINIMAL DESTRUCTION and see the homes "bones" and potential.. Something always snakes it way and prevents the wow factor.

I have looked at so many but can't seem to find one that is, shall I say, worth my time, money and commitment.

I have attached some gruesome photos I things that somehow found me.

Nice right? I loved this one.. Perfect location, HUGE backyard, decent size home... BUT

I was soo incredibly wrong!

Imagine this throughout the entire home.
So much work needed, plus I would have to acquire special financing for this run down P.O.S. ....Not to mention the price of the home... seriously?

This next one was okay, the HOA/CDD fees were over $115 a month! And the neighborhood looked like it was literally falling apart, and it was on a golf course. Meaning no fence over 4ft. (btw my dogs are like born Frisbee champions and can jump over 4ft with the slightest of ease) and golf ball cracks all over the back windows. Plus much needed renovations inside the home...

There were others, many others, some picture worthy some just needed to be straight up demolished but in the end I'm still homeless... well actually "Houseless".

How hard can this possibly be....?
